As most of you will know, for many years, our parish has been working tirelessly towards the goal of building a better and more suitable Parish Hall. In February, Fr Stephen and members of the Parish Finance Committee met senior members of the Diocesan Finance team to discuss the way forward. Since that meeting, we have all experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in complete closure of churches temporarily from March. Public Masses have only been permitted with very limited congregational numbers from early July. These restrictions have obviously had a significant effect on the finances of the parish and the Diocese. In these current times of  financial uncertainty, the Diocese is understandably hesitant to move forward with these plans.

Rest assured that our Building for the Lord fund is safe and is gaining a small amount of interest with the Diocese. Your continued patience and support for this project is very much appreciated and we are still completely committed to getting the facilities this parish so desperately needs. Thank you to you all.
